Julie Cross

Julie trained at Newlyn School of Art, as well as at art colleges in Leeds. Her scenes are painted, using oil paint and cold wax, from references around her home and studio in Wetherby and from her place of work at Harewood House.

Julie exhibits widely, including with the Society of Women Artists and the ING Discerning Eye in London. She has won numerous awards, including the renowned Harold Riley Sketchbook prize and, for many years, she was the Chair of a national animal art association.
