Justin Boyd

Justin is a self-taught artist residing in Barnsley.

Working as professional architectural lighting designer, that is designing daylight and electric lighting systems, he understands light and its interaction with the physical world. He enjoys painting as a detachment from the overwhelming digital world we live in.

Justin seeks a wide variety of subjects, including landscapes, portraits and still life, in an effort to expand his capability across the full range of painting. His pieces are all painted from life and completed within an hour with some touch-ups on a second sitting.
