David Lyon is an artist living and working in Leeds, West Yorkshire, England.

His compelling need to make and re-make his art has resulted in a variety of approaches in idea, and execution. He focuses primarily on traditionally natural subjects as themes to facilitate his attempt to realise his own personal visual language.

There is an emphasis on draughtsmanship and craft, skills honed by time spent refining his creative practice.
